A solid 4 out of 5. THE CAPE Cod Ruben was very good. The Sweet potato French fries not worth the extra 1.99. Chicken tenders were KFC style. Fresh spinach greens on the salad. The rice was soft and tender with a slight flavor in it. Overall not a bad time. You can see my full review on YouTube Review Time With Tim
All the food came cold. Had to ask for jam after 10 minutes of never seeing our server. Use to be our go to for a great breakfast, but not anymore. I think $44.00 for to Farmers plates and 1 cup of coffee for cold food is a bit much.
My family eats here whenever we stay at the Cape Codder. I personally think the food is great. I love their truffle fries and seafood. There is something on the menu for everyone. We have gone for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and were great visits so far. A little pricey as to be expected. The service has always been good as well.
I'm not saying the service was poor, but it was a bit slow due to staff shortage. My food was nice and hot. However, my wife's food was warm at best! The taste was good but it would have been better hot, according to my wife!
We stopped in at 7 pm on a Saturday evening, and it was DEAD! not a soul in there. We got so nervous thinking that ment the food wasn't going to be good, but boy, were we wrong. Portions were big, the food was good and the drinks were yummy! Eventually, a few more people came in while we were there, but it was nice how quiet it was there.
Our server was great.
Hearth N Kettle is always delicious. Third time here and so far my favorite dishes are the pot roast and chicken pot pie. This year I tried the Buffalo chicken Mac and cheese. The chicken was delicious but the Mac and cheese was almost like mush. Probably won't get that again. But the service is always great. Picture is the chicken pot pie and the chicken and cheese quesadilla kids meal.
The waitress was wonderful!! The bar area smelled like urine. The garlic wings were delicious and the quesadillas were just okay. Only did lunch so.i can't comment on breakfast or dinner but for 2 appetizer and 2 drinks was almost 100 dollars but we left a good tip because the waitress was very nice.
Was here for lunch and so disappointed to see the 1/2 sandwich and 1/2 crock of soup was not on the menu! Our excellent waitress, Molly, was able to accommodate the request for the soup and sandwich. Please bring this staple back to your menu. The fall and winter on the Cape make this combination so inviting. Hats off to Molly for making our visit extra enjoyable!!
